When do babies understand commands?
Babies start understanding your commands a long before they learn to express themselves. Learning things in their own language can be easy for babies as they live in an environment where everyone speaks the same language.
At this stage babies start reacting to your facial expressions. You would see a crying baby can feel better after listening to one his/her caregiver’s voice. Babies also smile and when you smile to them and give them some facial expressions.
At this age babies start reacting to most of the
things like toys and different sounds. They move their eyes with the moving
object and see your face with more concentration. They start recognizing the
different sounds.

they pay more attention to their caregiver’s voice and activities.

while interacting with you.

try to grab his/her toys and sometimes your face too. They start reacting
whenever you say their names. They also start responding to some commands like
when you call them and tell them to not to do this or that they listen
carefully whether they understand or not seeing this everyone get amused.
